Tickets are $175 per person and include a 3-course meal + a multicultural chamber music program following dinner. This intimate gathering has limited seating of 30 tickets — reserve your spot today!

100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to INARA’s humanitarian mission in Gaza. Through sold out ticket sales, we raised $10,000!

Tarek Daka, Chef Founder of Qanoon, pulls from his upbringing on an industrial farm in Palestine, where his mom’s cooking was powered by the season’s freshly harvested produce like eggplants and olives. The restaurant serves his version of the meals he grew up eating and the ones he cooks for family and friends at home.

"Qanoon means 'grill' in Arabic. The proper spelling would ideally be Kanoon but my siblings and I love the musical string instrument Qanun. I love it so much that I felt I should replace the 'K' in Kanoon with a 'Q'; and this is how the name Qanoon was born." -Tarek Daka, Chef Founder

We are thrilled to share some photos from our beautiful Gathering for Gaza event on December 1, 2025! This was our first collaboration with a local NYC restaurant, and we’re happy to report it was a huge success. We are so grateful to chef Tarek Daka and Qanoon for hosting this special event and for the delicious food and hospitality.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to Inara’s humanitarian mission in Gaza. We have thus far reached 90% of our $10,000 goal! If you’d like to help us cross the finish line, visit our JustGiving fundraising page to make a donation.

Special thanks to PROTESTRA musicians and volunteers for sharing their time and talents for such an important cause. We were especially grateful to reunite with our past collaborator, the incredible Hadi Eldebek of the Brooklyn Nomads

Food, music, and culture are what bring communities together, and we hope to produce more events like this in the future. If you’d like to help us be able to do so, please consider donating to PROTESTRA during this season of giving so we can continue to bring communities together for important causes!
